A life long gasman, Peter began his career as an Engineer in 1976 with The Gas Corporation in Liverpool.   He played a key role in the break-up of what was the old British Gas into separate stand-alone businesses. Having joined Phoenix Natural Gas as Commercial Director in February 1997, Peter was appointed to the Board as Chief Executive Officer in July 2000. In November 2003 Peter joined the Board of East Surrey Holdings as an Executive Director. 

He is a past Council Member of the CBI, Chairman of the SBGI Transporters and Shippers Forum and Advisory Board Member of Common Purpose NI.  He is also a past founding Board Member of the National Energy & Utility Skills Council.  Peter is a Fellow of the Institute of Energy and a Companion of the Institute Gas Engineers. 

He is a past Chairman of IGEM Ireland and holds a number of Board positions within the Phoenix Holding Group.  Since its inception in 2005 he has been Chairman of the Energy for Children Charitable Trust.   Peter is a Board member of Business in the Community and Chairman of Arena Network. He is also a Belfast Harbour Commissioner. He has lived in Northern Ireland since 1997.

yesMichael is a qualified accountant with extensive management experience within a cross section of Northern Ireland's best-known local businesses. He started his career in 1984 with GEC, worked in the textiles industry with Ulster Weavers and then joined Premier Power after its purchase by British Gas in 1993. In 1996 Michael joined Phoenix, taking responsibility for a range of business support activities including Finance, Customer Accounting, HR, IT and Business Administration. Michael now assumes responsibility for Finance, HR, Customer Accounting, Business Services, Procurement, IT and Total Quality Management.
